Although her soon to be discovered talent to absorb aether around her to regenerate her own wounds would caught curious and frightened looks.
Growing up surrounded by the sea and the thrill of adventure, and guided by the only thing she kept about her past,Valentine's destiny led her to work as a bounty hunter or in any role that promised travel. Eventually drawn to the enigmatic allure of the ninja arts, honing her skills and mastering their ancient techniques with natural prowess.
After a series of adventures on Ishgard where she earned a Dark Knight title, she embarked on a journey across continents, navigating the vast expanse of Eorzea until she reached the distant shores of Kugane.
Her journey took an unexpected turn with an encounter with Yuki Yatsurugi, princess of the Yatsurugi clan. Struck by the uncanny resemblance between them, Valentine was prompted to question her true origins,
Soon she'd understand the burgeoning darkness festering beneath Hingan streets.
After a fleeting affair with a local she was betrayed and sold to a secret imperial base that sought to experiment with her and replicate her abilities. She managed to escape alive but her adventurous heart became deeply tainted with mistrust.
Wanting desperately to be able to be back to a place she could call home, she sleeps now on either ships or Lominsan rooftops, just close enough so she can hear the voices of the people she loves, but not allowing herself or anyone to get too close.
